TinyProof is a free, local-first iOS app for dated condition proofs. You organize evidence as Pair Walks — not folders of unsorted photos — then latch a complete walk and export a packet when you need to share it.

Photos, videos, and notes stay on your device unless you choose to share a packet. There is no account, no ads, and no subscription.

TinyProof stores personal condition records for your own organization. Packets are not a legal filing, insurance claim, or professional inspection report. TinyProof is an independent app and is not affiliated with any landlord, courier, insurer, dealership, or government agency.

Information We Collect

TinyProof does not require an account, sign-up, or login. We do not operate a backend that stores your walks, frames, or notes. We do not run third-party advertising or analytics SDKs that profile you for ads.

The following may be stored locally on your device:

  • Situation titles, kinds, counterparts, place labels, and notes you enter
  • Before and after photos or videos you capture or attach, with capture times and integrity hashes
  • Optional place stamps (coordinates and reverse-geocoded place names) when Place Stamping is on
  • Inspector name printed on packets, default walk kind, and reminder preferences
  • Completeness scores, seal state, and packet data you generate

Permissions & System Services

  • Camera / Photo Library — used only when you capture or attach frames.
  • Location (When In Use) — used only if you enable Place Stamping; optional reverse geocoding may request a place name for that stamp.
  • Notifications — used only if you enable after-due reminders.

Network Use

Core Pair Walk features work offline. When Place Stamping is on, Apple reverse geocoding may run to label a place. Decorative atmosphere images in the interface may load from a public image CDN when a network is available; that does not upload your walks or frames. Sharing a packet PDF uses the system share sheet you control.

How We Use Information

Because we do not collect your personal walk data on our servers, there is nothing for us to sell, profile, or share with advertisers. Features run using data stored in the app’s private space on your device.

Data Storage & Retention

Content remains in the Application’s local storage. There is no cloud sync operated by us. Deleting the app removes associated local data from your device.

Children’s Privacy

TinyProof does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 on our servers. Local records stay on the device under the user’s control.

Your Control

You can edit or delete situations and frames in the app, clear sample handoffs, or uninstall TinyProof to remove stored content from your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect app improvements or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. The core commitment — local-first storage, no account, no sale of personal data — will not change without clear notice.
